Over 100 clubs nationwide are led by certified ITA instructors — the people who set the standard for ITF Taekwon-Do in Ireland.
ITA membership is a seal of quality for instructors and students alike.
Standards
Every ITA instructor
- Holds a minimum of 1st Degree black belt
- Has completed Taekwon-Do specific, Sport Ireland Coaching recognised coach education
- Is Garda-vetted through the Taekwon-Do Advisory Board
- Is first aid trained and currently certified
- Holds adequate insurance cover for their club
- Abides by Irish Martial Arts Commission safeguarding policies
