ITATournaments
The premier Taekwon-Do title for Irish competitors, staged in the largest and most modern arenas in the country.
The ITA runs three national tournaments per year in Dublin, Limerick and Munster which attract almost 3,000 entries in total.
Standard
Built for competitors, coaches, umpires and spectators
The ITA has invested heavily to ensure the highest quality tournaments for competitors, coaches, umpires and spectators. ITA tournaments take place in the largest, most modern arenas in the country with state-of-the-art facilities.
As the national association for ITF Taekwon-Do in Ireland and as a member of IMAC, the ITA National Championships are considered the premier Taekwon-Do title for Irish competitors.
ITA tournaments also attract a lot of international entries, with competitors from Scotland, England, Austria, Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands, Albania and Canada attending our tournaments over the past few years.

Juniors
Children's tournament
As well as our adult and elite level competitions, the ITA is proud to run the largest children's tournament in Ireland. Experienced umpires monitor contact levels and apply the rules as appropriate to children of the various age groups to ensure everyone can have a positive experience.
As a reward for showing the bravery to step onto the mat and compete, all under-10s who compete in ITA tournaments are awarded a participation medal.
The current site also offers a Parents' guide to tournaments for anyone preparing for a first ITA event. That document is being re-linked as part of the resource migration.
